BlackIce LLC – Service Disclaimer

By engaging Black Ice LLC for snow removal or related services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Weather Conditions – All service timelines are estimates only. Delays due to severe weather, unsafe road conditions, or other uncontrollable events do not constitute breach of contract and do not entitle you to refunds unless approved in writing by the Owner or Sales Manager.

  2. Ice Under Snow – We do not guarantee removal of compacted or bonded ice beneath snow layers, nor do we guarantee prevention of refreeze after de-icing treatments.

  3. Force Majeure – We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, equipment failure, power outages, accidents, government restrictions, pandemics, or third-party delays.

  4. Property Conditions – We are not responsible for damage caused by hidden hazards, pre-existing defects, or unsafe conditions on the property.

  5. Assumption of Risk – You acknowledge that snow removal and related services inherently involve risks to property and safety, and you assume full responsibility for those risks.

Cancellation &
Refund Policy

Black Ice LLC – Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Seasonal Contracts – Seasonal services are billed upfront and are non-refundable except as expressly approved by the Owner or Sales Manager. Early cancellations do not entitle the client to prorated refunds.

  2. Per-Visit Services – Per-visit bookings may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable.

  3. Expedited Services (Whiteout Command) – Once confirmed, expedited bookings are final and non-refundable, regardless of arrival time, unless the service is cancelled by Black Ice LLC.

  4. Company-Initiated Cancellations – If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, mechanical failure, or staff unavailability, we may reschedule or issue a credit at our discretion.

  5. Refund Approval – All refund requests must be submitted in writing. Final refund decisions are made solely by the Owner or Sales Manager.

BlackIce LLC – Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I, the undersigned client, acknowledge and agree as follows:

  1. Inherent Risks – Snow removal, roof clearing, and ice management involve risks including property damage, personal injury, and other hazards.

  2. No Guarantees – Black Ice LLC makes no guarantees as to complete removal of snow/ice, prevention of future accumulation, or protection against weather-related damage.

  3. Release of Liability – To the fullest extent allowed by Alaska law, I release and discharge Black Ice LLC, its employees, and contractors from all liability for any injury, damage, or loss arising out of or in connection with the services provided, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

  4. Indemnification – I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Black Ice LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses related to the services provided.

  5. Binding Effect – This waiver is binding upon me, my heirs, and legal representatives.
